Starlight Strutters

On Friday May the 17th our large event for Treetops Hospice went fantastically. It was at the INTU shopping centre in Derby city centre and we supplied staging and a full lighting and sound system for around 600 Starlight Strutters walkers. The happy starlighters arrived at 6pm, we welcomed them with fantastic uplifting music and shout outs along with requests, before around 9pm they went off for either 5k or 10k fun walk around Derby the city, all to raise money for a good cause. The first walker's began to arrive back at about 21.45 onwards and they walked into kpdsounds playing great music to create a good atmosphere. We had amazing feedback from everyone including the Managers of the Derby Shopping Centre and its looking like they will be doing the same event next year. On June the 1st we had an emergency wedding come in, due to the couple being let down by another DJ/entertainment Company. It was a wedding at the Hallmark Hotel Derby, our 2 DJ's Tyrell and Clevelan went to the rescue. The happy couple Matt and Dom sent us a lovely message thanking us KPD Sounds for our professional service. 

Next weekend, June the 8th we are looking forward to a fun day at Long Eaton United Football Club, a wedding in Papplewick Pumping Station, Nottingham and a 50th birthday out in Norbury Derbyshire near to Ashbourne for a 80's and 90's fancy dress theme on a farm.
