I wish I could just display a single price here. It would make life so much easier for both of us – but I can’t.

There are several things that I need to ask you first before I can quote. Then I will give you the best price I can.

KPD Sounds don't offer set prices, as when quoting we consider:-

If you’re doing a price comparison, with other DJs please be aware that we are a professional mobile disco who will bring music, fun and laughter to your party.

Is going for the cheapest priced DJ really worth the risk?

We are friendly, helpful and play to you and your guests, and at no point do we make this about us.

We have over 20 years’ experience, and in all that time I’ve never let anyone down
Once the deposit has been received we will confirm your booking.
We have Public Liability Insurance for £10 million pounds and all equipment is fully tested for electrical safety (P.A.T tested)

We do not subcontract or employ any third party DJs; When booking with us you will always be dealing with KPD Sounds right up to your event;

Many venues won’t let your disco through the door without these so I can email them a copy of the certificates if required.

What kind of DJs would we be if we didn’t play your requests?
We’re happy to take requests on the night aiming to play as many as possible. However it’s also worth telling us any songs or styles that you don’t want to hear.

By not being too obvious and timing the songs to a correct order that makes sense and most importantly playing songs that work for the customer.

Simply put the way we are different is the way we blend styles of music together - this takes years of experience, including learning the tracks

Our full show stands over 5m in length (16 ft) and will give an overall look atmosphere and feel of a mini nightclub with lighting, Led screens to lasers and scanners.

However, if space is limited, we can work in an area of 11ft x 6ft

Our large event setup covers 7 metres (23ft) with extra sound and lighting to produce the ultimate WOW factor.

We try to get the disco setup in an hour but if there is a large distance between unloading the equipment and where we have to setup and/of stairs and lifts to negotiate, it may take a little longer.

We also require 30 minutes afterwards to pack the equipment away.

We have entertained from 10 people up to large crowds of several thousand.

Yes we are. We do a lot of children’s parties, packed with games and other fun filled activities.

We mostly operate in and around the East Midlands, covering Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and Leicestershire. However, often travel further afield.

We provide musical entertainment for most types of functions, both private and corporate.

PAT stands for Portable Appliance Testing to make sure the equipment we use is safe to use anywhere we do a disco.

Yes, we carry a £10 million public liability policy.

We are very confident and speak very clearly on a microphone and will do this throughout our dj sets. We will gladly make announcements on your behalf and you are welcome to use it anytime. For example, a first dance where we will welcome you onto the floor or to wish someone happy birthday

Payments

To secure the booking we require a deposit of 40%, leaving the balance to be paid in CASH at the event.

  1. Sending a deposit cheque made payable to KPD Sounds - 3 Lynden Avenue, Long Eaton, Nottingham, NG10 1AD will secure the booking, leaving the balance payable in cash on the day. If you could put your contact number and party date on the reverse of your cheque we will ring to confirm details when the deposit has been received.
  2. You can bring cash or cheque to 41 Victoria Street, Sawley, Long Eaton, Nottingham, NG10 3ET.
  3. By internet banking to SORT CODE 16-14-18 ACCOUNT NUMBER 10169276 NAME: kpdsounds
  4. We can also take card payments over the telephone.
